How can I create a poll or survey and place it on the first page of ZB

Hello Bahram,

Here are the step to creating a new poll in Zpeakerbox:

1. In the appropriate forum (e.g. Diet Light Discussion, or Humour and Entertainment) click on the "New Thread" button.

2. Start by writing the details for the poll, or some background on the question in the main text area, just as you would any other new thread.

3. Scroll down slightly after you have finished writing your body and you will see a section called "Additional Option". Within that section, check off the box that says, "Yes, post a poll with this thread".

4. Adjust the number of options you want to include in your poll appropriately (this is located just below the check box from step 3).

5. When you click on "Submit New Thread", it will take you to another page where you will then be able to edit the options for your poll.

6. Start by filling in the actual question for the poll, then fill in the details below that for the options you want to include (e.g. Yes, No, Sometimes).

7. Make any other adjustments you would like within the instructions you are asked then click on "Submit New Poll".

In terms of creating a poll to be visible on the Homepage, all threads that are created in "Diet Light Discussion" that include a poll will automatically appear on the Homepage, but these polls specifically will only be visible to members once they sign in.
