How do I get a rep? I know it has something to do with posting. But where do we post to get one?

Your fellow members have to grant you reps. They just click on that little icon and add as they please. :)

Clicking on the "Weigh Scale" icon on the right side above your details allows you to rep others. Normally, you rep people for posts which you agree with. Or you rep them (negatively) for posts you think are flames/mean/etc.

I want to vote for my own posts.

Well, no matter how many times you "rep" yourself, you're still going no where with 0 Rep power. ;)

And what are the little green squares underneath the rep?

And what are the little green squares underneath the rep?

I think basically it is like a pat on the back and/or a popularity thing. The more positive reps you get, I think the green squares increase in number.

hmm...interesting. I always thought the 'rep' was set and adjusted by the admins. Now that I have aired my ignorance (!!!), henceforth, I shall make a conscious effort to click on the relevant icons.

Only? Even $0.01 is too much! ;)
