Its summertime everyone... Now that school is officially wrapping up for most of you what are your summer plans? Travelling anywhere? The congress? More classes? (dork!.. myself included), the beach? hiking? Bikeing? All of the above? None of the above? What are your summer plans?

Jimmy, what are your plans for the summer? Are you going to make it to Toronto for the congress? We have not heard back from you yet. Lots of ZB members are going to meet up - it would be good if you can make it.

I know afreed I havent heard from myself either :P ...Initially i said def yes, then I said def no, now its looking like a maybe .. sheesh im getting to be like someone I know...

Anyway I gota figure out the logistics and see if i can pull something... The question I have for all you ZBers is:

Is anyone going to still be around (not at work) on the Monday Tuesday or Wed after the congress?

If so, then I may end up going, right now the ticket prices are crazy for me to be going just for the weekend and driving is out of the question, esp if its just the weekend. Also, if i do end up going i will be pulling a sharon and paku, only staying in toronto to meet up with peeps (that means you guys not the sugary marshmellow kind) and not going to the congress.

Jimmy, I am probably the closest out of the TO ZBers (I'm about 1.5 hours from Buffalo-Niagara International Airport), but my dilemma is also why I'm not going to congress. My mom is in for surgery, and it's not going to be pretty. My time will be with her. I'm sorry! I wish I could help.

Jimmy, last year when my parents were in Toronto they took the ferry over to Buffalo and then flew internally within the U.S. as that was much cheaper. Why dont you see if you can do that (if the ferry is still running)? Just a thought.

Rox, No worries...really wish your mom the best on her surgery. Our thoughts and prayers will be with her, hope she makes a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the info Jamsheer, Ill have to weigh my options, then see if i can actually make it or not depending on work/school, hopefully i can figure out a way to see you all there.

Well actually J i'm glad you said something I am doing stuff this summer I have finished class and now will be pickin up some fun things to do before school starts again. Surfing, dancing martial arts and soccer are a few of the 5 lol that I am trying to pursue slowly. Also I am going to the World Zoro youth congress in Ballarat If you haven't bought your tix's already you should this place is going to be banging and if you dont have the funds try n get the subsidy while you still can. other than that I think the site is great good job moderators i'll be one of your ACTIVE memebers.

Even with the subsidies that are available I'm still convinced the prices are off the wall. Then again, I'm factoring in flight tickets etc. so naturally it adds up...

Ro and I are taking a road trip in July to Toronto (we won't be there until July 2...I guess we'll miss the congress. Will anyone still be in town?), NYC, Washington D.C., Boston, Plymouth, Philadelphia and maybe Jamestown and Willamsburg.
At the end of July, we'll be moving to Minneapolis. We're going to drive there from Rochester. We're going to stop in Cleveland and Chicago to visit friends and family. And then my cousins are coming to Minneapolis for a couple weeks of partying. My parents and my in-laws will be visiting after my cousins leave. And then maybe a friend from Calgary will come during Labour Day weekend.
And my road test is on July 2! I can't wait!
