How can I upload a pic. for my avatar ? can I ?

Hello Human,

Here are the steps to creating a custom avatar.

1. First, you will need to have an account at a place that hosts images. I like to use www.photobucket.com, but you can use any site that will do the same job.

2. You will need to resize the picture you wish to use so that it is a maximum size of 100 by 100 pixels or 64.0 kb

3. Upload this picture to the site of your choice, as in step 1.

4. Once that picture is uploaded, the site will give you a specific URL for that picture. Keep note of this URL, you will need it later.

5. Once signed into Zpeakerbox, click on "User CP" near the top navigation bar.

6. Once, there, find the option that says, "Edit Profile Picture". It is in the left column. Click on that link.

7. You will then see an option that says "Enter Profile Picture URL". Just copy and paste the URL from step 4 into that location then click "Save Changes"

Your Avatar should then be loaded!

You may also notice that when you get to step 7, just below the box that requires a URL there is also a box that says, "Upload a Profile Picture From Your Computer". You can do this as well, without having to upload a picture as in step 1, just as long as the dimension requirements in step 2 are obeyed.
