Enterpreuner Zoroastrian Initiative
Oct 23, 2009 - 8:18 AM - by ORBITRANS
The EZI(Enterpreuner Zoroastrian Initiative) was started by a group of young Zoroastrian Professionals and Enterpreuners to start a movement to build ownership housing by self financing initiatives.

Instead of playing blame games and waiting endlessly for the Trustees of our erstwhile Bombay Parsee Panchayat or Other various Religious TRusts who own buildings in two"s and Three"s to decide whom to allocate a roof (a leaking, unattended, old house )which finally got vacated due to the demise of an old elderly surviving member of our beloved community, uncared for, unloved (by children who fled for greener pastures),unfed or who breathed their last breadth in some isolated corner of a Parsee General or Masina Hospital, have decided to pursue earnestly by first identifying a suitable plot of land in Central or South Mumbai, contributing for its development and forming Co-op Housing Societies by their ownselves.

Ever wonder how all this started?
Sep 21, 2009 - 11:47 PM - by behzadgazder
Ever since I was inducted into the zoroastrian faith (navjote) I ve been wondering about the origins of religion. It seems that most monotheist faiths came to being roughly around the same time. Found this little article. Cant vouch for its authenticity but enuf to get ppl started.

I mean here we are having debates about how to save the community from extinction but is it even worth saving? Do we know who we are and where we came from? Do we even know how this whole thing began?

We all know the fables but do we know the truth?

Some of you have probably seen this article. To a vast many of you its a great article cataloging Parsi eateries in Bombay. To me its a article about food that slips in jabs to one side of the political spectrum.

Is it really necessesary that they write such things like 'unless you want to wait for the increasingly rare occasion of two parsis getting married' Which btw is bullshi.. because if you all all the major baugs and halls where Parsi's have weddings in india they are booked serveral months if not years out. They could have just left it at food, but for some reason they felt compelled to include to drag in that we dont allow mixed married people or converts. It just goes to show that people cant write anything good anymore for the sake of writing good things about our religion. It invariably gets tainted... [Read More]
