About Zpeakerbox
Some History:
Zpeakerbox was launched on May 14, 2004 after an e-mail article was sent out to a large number of Zoroastrian youth bringing about the idea of an online medium through which young Zarathushtis from all over the world could come together. Since it's launch, Zpeakerbox has had a snowball effect on the Zoroastrian youth community reaching countries such as Canada, UK, India, Pakistan, United States, Iran, Germany, Australia, and Pacific Asia. Each day, the site grows in its membership base primarily through word-of-mouth advertisement.
So what's it all about?
We hope that Zpeakerbox will be a space for the unheard Zoroastrian youth, from any part of the world. Each year, congresses are held for Zoroastrians to express their concerns about the direction of the religion. Unfortunately, cost of attendance as well as time is a huge limitation for many. The basic idea behind this site is that each and every person has the opportunity to speak their mind and have their ideas heard. Discussions in the forums are geared toward an array of different humorous and entertaining topics.
Want to hash out global or community issues? Check out the Serious Discussion forum for interesting debates and discussions. The forums also provide space for our youth to advertise upcoming events in their area and other global activities, such as congresses. Our hope is that as our young Zarathushtis participate in various activities on this site, they also maintain some sort of moral responsibility. By this we mean that each individual respects and tolerates the opinions of others even if such opinions differ and oppose their own. We encourage critical thought and criticism of ideas; not people and social groups. Please be advised that personal attacks and group discrimination such as racial, gender, and sexual orientation remarks and slanders will not be tolerated.

We do make custom designs as well as generic Zpeakerbox prints. Any profits earned are used towards site maintenance, server hosting, and charity. Collected funds and donations are announced on the main page. If you have any concerns about the status of these funds, please do not hesitate to ask one of the administrators. To visit our store, please go to www.cafepress.com/Zpeakerbox.
Other ways to donate:
Zpeakerbox does not require or expect our members to pay to use the site; however, those who would like to donate "a little something-something," you may donate using Paypal, found at the bottom left of this page.
